NewSigned report cards and photos of your child

Every conversation your school has with parents, in one place.

Notices, attendance, results, fees, the school shop and messages between guardians and teachers. Ginni replaces the WhatsApp groups, paper slips and cash envelopes with one system your staff and parents both trust.

The platform

Ten parts, one system

Every one of these is a working part of Ginni today, not a roadmap — and each is scoped to a single school.

Messages that reach the right person

A guardian writes to their child’s class teacher, or to the school office, in one inbox. The teacher sees which pupil it is about before they reply.

Fees paid from a phone, receipted properly

Parents pay fees, trips and shop orders by mobile money or card. Finance receipts each one from the school’s own receipt book, and sees every settlement.

  • The notice board

Photos, a video or documents on every notice, with replies switched on only when the school wants them.

  • Attendance in one pass

A class register marked present, absent, late or excused — and a history the family can see.

  • Results & report cards

Marks per subject and term, published when the teacher is ready, with the signed paper card attached.

  • Photos of their child

Ginni finds a child in the school’s notice photos — only with a guardian’s recorded consent, and a person confirms every one.

  • Calendar & schedules

Trips and events with their costs per grade, plus the uniform schedule and the food menu for the term.

  • The school shop

Uniforms, books and kit, with stock kept as a ledger and orders that arrive in a queue staff can work down.

  • Fundraising

Appeals with a goal and progress parents can see, including giving anonymously.

  • Suggestion box

Parents raise an idea or a concern; the school reads it, answers it and closes it, without it getting lost.

For parents

One app for every child, at every school

A parent signs in with the mobile number the school already has for them. With children at two schools, they choose which — and everything after that belongs to the school they are in.

  • Attendance and published marks
  • Report cards, with the signed copy
  • Photos their child is in
  • Fees, trips and the school shop
  • Messages with the class teacher
  • Notices, the calendar and the menu
For staff

Four roles, each with only their own work

A teacher sees their classes, Finance sees the money, and what each role may do is checked by Ginni on every request — so removing someone from the school takes effect on their very next click.

Built with care

A child’s school record deserves a careful home

Marks, photographs, fees and messages about children. Ginni is built around what that asks of it.

Each school’s data is its own

Every request is checked against the one school it belongs to. Nothing leaks between the schools on Ginni.

Consent before faces

Photos are matched to a child only with a guardian’s consent on record, as Zambia’s Data Protection Act asks.

Money you can trace

Every payment carries two references, a receipt written by a person, and a settlement statement for the school.

Nothing invented

Parents see what the school published — marks, remarks, prices — never a figure Ginni made up for it.

Getting started

From first call to first register, in four steps

Schools are set up by the Ginni team rather than self-serve, so your first Admin is verified before anyone else is let in.

  1. 1

    We register your school

Ginni creates your school and its first Admin, then emails that person a setup link.

  2. 2

    Your admin finishes setup

They confirm the details, verify their mobile number, upload your logo and set a password.

  3. 3

    Add your team

Staff create an account; your Admin adds each one by mobile number and gives them a role.

  4. 4

    Add pupils and guardians

Enrol pupils into this year’s classes and link each guardian by their mobile number.
